I would say "yes and no". Our Cable Tica TV package includes ABC and CBS channels from Miami, Florida; but NBC has restricted its distribution in Costa Rica and is generally not available via regular TV. We have ESPN and Fox Sports but they are geared towards Central American sports - they sometimes do have USA football and baseball games on, but they often have Spanish speaking commentators. We have purchased "NFL Gamepass" to stream USA football games thru our computer, which we hook up to our TV with an HDMI cable - but picture quality is not great.

Just FYI, the article in the link posted above was written in 2012, when NBC was available in CR. They pulled out of CR after that. I am not that familiar with the dish networks, so the info in the article about them "may" be valid.

What you get via Roku in C.R. is different from what you get in USA. If important, check into if further, Going through a VPN server may or may not work all the time.
