Hello, my family and I are looking to move to Costa Rica in the very near future. I am Type 1 diabetic and I am curious to find out how much Diabetic supplies and medication cost in Costa Rica and how easily accesible are they? Mainly I would need Insulin and Insulin Pump supplies for my Medtronic Insulin Pump. Thank you!

Sorry, I can't provide the exact info you require, but the availability of your medications will depend on your location and how near you are to the CAJA clinic, once a 'legal' Resident or where you can purchase them 'over the counter' at a local pharmacy.
At one time a friend mentioned to me in passing, that CAJA provided only 1 needle per day...
Hopefully, other may have better information.

Filling in some time, I came across this information, in essence that CAJA does not supply what your require, however, you may be able to purchase it elsewhere.,
