Hello,
We are thinking of moving to Guanacaste, wanting to settle around CRIA. Does anyone have any suggestions on realtors or any other people that might help make the transition smoother? Muchos gracias!

I would advise you 'to check out various locations' around the school prior to making any decisions.
I found Brasilito, one of the closest towns to the school, 'OK' for a couple of days of vacationing, but wouldn't want to live there...and I have only driven through the other towns without spending much time in them to form an opinion.
Suggest you hold back on purchasing ANY property until you have lived there for at least a year. Much easier to move locations when you are renting.

As always, the best advice is to rent to get the feel for local living. Check out multiple areas near where you want or think you want to be, ask a million questions of locals, and immerse yourself into the environment.
