I'm surprised that no one seems to care about this information. Some homeowners don't even know and those who are absentee think that their property managers will take care of everything. When I used to rent my condo our rental money used to go to our agent's bank account. I asked him if he was paying everything in our behalf including taxes and he said yes. Later I found out he hadn't paid the corporate tax because he had forgotten about it! That's why I decided to let others know because the Government had canceled it last year while having talks to replace it and now it's back!

It really isn't much of a tax...although it may make people considering buying a property with an inactive company reconsider their options.
I'm glad its back. I remember someone threatening to quit if it wasn't brought back because it funds the police department. Clearly he won his case and we all know that the police officers need more funding.
