Hello,
Does anyone have any information on the Eco Development in Playa Largarto? I found some info. on the net, but cannot locate anything recent on Expat Exchange.
I was there earlier this year and found it to be a lovely community, but still in it's early stages.
Anyone have a property there? Anyone have an update or thoughts about the place?

I got an email from RecapInvestment Toronto about that project.
Then I went online and I found more info and a video.
I like the condos (or little houses) but it's still a bit to the beach if you need to walk.
They say they still have 18 left.

According to an acquaintance this 'development' is in the middle of nowhere'. Long way to go to purchase milk and gas.

Also seems to have a problem getting their pool etc built, as it is still without permits, at least that has been what we have heard.

In the video we can see some individual small pools but the ocean is so far away.
Booking.com is already renting condos there.

And be aware that beach and others in that area are not the safest for swimming. go up to your knees and thats about it. I like spearfishing down the road a bit and many of those beaches are beautiful but not for swimming. I am a PADI scuba instructor and in my view there are too many rip currents. I actually looked at that project but the lots were too small for me--
