Business Question

I am doing a school project and was looking for some personal experiences since a few websites I found contradict each other. 1. In business, is it normal to be late still, or is business different and everyone has an expectation of being on time? 2. Who makes decisions? Do all employees basically make decisions to together, or just top management when it comes to a business deal or proposals from other companies they've teamed up with? 3. How are deadlines in business? I read they can say they will get it done by tomorrow at 0800am, yet wont get anything back for days. 4. What are the face-saving techniques you've seen? I read part of the reason that if you propose a time and they don't show is that they really weren't agreeing, they just said yes so the wouldn't disappoint you. 5. Aside from making sure you have your title on a business cards, are there any other must haves for business cards?Show less 6. Are there any suggestions on how to make appointments with potential business partners of Costa Rica? I heard 7am is when all radio station play the national anthem. I assume you would not try to schedule a meeting at this time. Who do you contact to schedule a meeting - a secretary, by email only, etc. 7. Assuming it applies to business, is there something seriously important I should know if I wanted to do business in Costa Rica that I forgot to research?
