What kind of clubs are you looking for? I live in Limassol and although there are several clubs here, you tend to meet other Expats through work and socialising more than joining clubs.

There is the Hash House Harrier Club which meet every Sunday, it is made up of mostly Expats. There is the Limassol Ladies Club, this is okay but aimed at the mid 50’s and above age group in my view. I have recently been invited to The International Women’s Club in Limassol, I have not yet attended but I will let you know what it is like.

There are plenty of health clubs here with very good facilities.

I do not know whether you are intending to work here but if not there are several charities that are always looking for volunteers.

I have been trying to identify sources of information on registered companies operating in Cyprus with the purpose being to contact them to discover what my employment prospects are like.
I am a 46 year old accountant and have worked for myself for the last 18 years or so.
I have managed to gather a huge amount of information from the Cyprus stock exchange and have already been in contact with a couple of hundred companies, but I feel I need to seek more.
Is there a register of some sort I could subscribe to?
There doesnt appear to be such a thing as Chambers of Commerce. I could change direction and get involved in something different like plumbing or electrical work or even become an IFA! Any openings?
I could consider remaining self employed of course, but without contacts of any sort I think that would be a real uphill struggle.
Any help would be very welcome.
