am uk midwife thinking of relocating in year or so as husband retiring but want to work not retire! British forces now only appointing on bank contracts, what other opportunities are there for serving english speaking communities as a midwife in cyprus?Will be learning some greek but not probably not enough to practice medically. Where do women go to give birth and what sort of ante and postnatal care is provided. Love to hear any info please!

Hi,

Did you manage to find work as a midwife. My wife is trying to find an english midewife in cyprus, as the language barrier is making us think that we should go back to the UK to have the baby.

hi!

are there any independent midwives in cyprus??? I am desperately trying to find one that would be willing to assist me during the birth of my second child. I had a terrible experience at a clinic with my first, resulting in a c-section and would like to avoid a repeat. Can't seem to find any midwives here!!

Will greatly appreciate any information on the subject.
