Hi, we have a small company in the UK and we have hundreds of Tradesmen available to customers through the internet - Builders, carpenters, plumbers etc ... We are looking at bringing this to Cyprus for people that need renovations doing to thier properties and would like to know if anyone knows what the building trade is like in Cyprus and is it quite easy to get hold of builders and plumbers etc ... I would be very grateful for your kowledge on this one. Thanks Marie.

I have lived in Cyprus for 20 years and service/ repairs are terrible, bogus "builders" everywhere. Solar panel has never worked, and oddjobmen only leave behind broken roof tiles. Which is why several advertise as "British plumber" etc in the Limassol area. Building costs are around 700 Cyprus pounds per m2 for traditional build.

hi, myself and my family are looking into relocating to cyprus, in the paphos area, and were interested to find out what the work situation is like for electricians. In the uk I run my own electrical company and do installations, rewires, maintenance and testing. What are salaries like? What differences are there to the uk markets?
