I would like to know what are the requirements like visas, how much money in the bank etc before working and living in Cyprus. I am 50year old female from Australia..I have an Australian passport I do not have an EU passport

You don't say where you are from. If you are an EU citizen you don't need a visa or work permit as Cyprus is now a member of the EU.

thankyou for your reply..I am from Australia..so I think I need a work visa..I am interested in teaching english overseas..and I am interested in one day working in Cyprus..so any info is appreciated..thanks..Leanne

Yes you will need to get a visa and the best people to speak about this would be the Autralian High commission.

Currently where are you staying .If you have European citizenship you can easly work in Cyprus

Thankyou for your reply. i live in Australia and plan one day to come to Cyprus to work. I do not have an EU passport only Australian. I think i need a working visa to work in Cyprus.
