Hi, I moved to Cyprus last September with Autoshippers, they collected our cars and shipped them in one container. The only paperwork I had to do was sent off the purple slip on the Car Registration document (Log Book) to the address on the document saying that I'm exporting my car. At the dock in Limmossol I had to pay Euros 1,000 to get the 2 cars off the boat, unloaded and Port taxes. It's probably a good idea to contact someone in shipping to see how much it will cost you to (if anything) to take it off the boat. You also need a form to take with you before you go to say that you are going to be living in Cyprus to avoid paying the VAT and import duty/tax on arrival at the port. This allows you 3 months to get your residency and you can extend it for another 3 months. Next year they are going to scrap tax on imported cars! Regards, Telea
