If there was one thing that you wish you had known about living in Cyprus before you arrived and started to settle in, what would it be?

I spent about 6 months there, but on the Turkish side. Nothing worth mentioning meaning there was nothing that could have changed my mind that it was a wonderful country.
But still I wish I knew service and communication would be SO slow. A expected that as in the south it's almost always like that. But SOOO SLOOOW? Hell no, annoying.
