I had many problems selecting and using the best transport method in Cyprus. That is why, I decided to share this short post with you... When it comes to the public transport, Cyprus is facing difficulties:

- There are no rails and thus no trains in Cyprus,
- Buses are cheap, but unfortunately not regular enough (all the bus info can be found at http://www.cyprusbybus.com/),
- Taxis are expensive and taxi drivers many times don't have their meters on and drive quite dangerously,

Alternative option
- Carpooling platform (http://taksidi.org/)

Until I learned about the last option, I was quite disappointed, since I didn't find a perfect and friendly way to visit all these wonderful places in Cyprus. Taksidi.org made a difference and I used it quite few times already. I definitely recommend this platform to all students visiting Cyprus. Not only it is cheap, but it is a perfect method to meet locals and other foreigners living in Cyprus.
