The government have set up a scheme for non EU nationals to obtain EU passports by purchasing property or investing in Cyprus. Anyone who would like more information please just ask, we have the legal information on hand for you.

It seems you are referring to BUYING citizenship. It is indeed offered but the investment is considerable and I doubt anyone would say it was a wise investment from an investment point of view.
If however someone has 5 Mil Euros lying around doing nothing and want to spend it solely to buy Citizenship, then yes, it's available.

One does not need 5 million Euros, the EU passport is availabe when buying property in Cyprus, the link you gave is a very old post that no longer applies.
Hope that helps.

Thats a very old link and does not apply to Cyprus, buying a property entitles one to an EU passport but of course there are conditions, one of which is the property must be over €300, 000 euros. Hope that helps clarification.

A link would provide clarification for those interested EmilyCyprus.
The following link indicates an individual investment of 5 mil or 2.5 mil if part of a group with a total investment of 12.5 mil. https://www.henleyglobal.com/citizenship-cyprus-citizenship/
Here is another dated 2016 which says the same thing. http://www.globes.co.il/en/article-eu-passport-through-investment-in-cyprus-1001129722
So yes, you can BUY citizenship but at a fairly serious cost. Just buying a 300k Euro house will not do it.
Are you perhaps confusing the one which gets you 'instant' Cypriot citizenship vs. a path that gets you Residency which can lead to citizenship after a period of years?
