Hi all,

I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and living in Brno i would love to hear from other pregnant english speaking ladies in or around my area. I talk with my UK friends who have kids or are pregnant online but its not the same as a good old fasioned chat over a coffee and cake :)
Also if you have had a baby in Czech i'd like to hear your thoughts on the hospitals over here and if you had to pay any extra for husbands in the room, over night stays etc etc. I will have very shortly VZP Insurance and private healthcare through Medicover.

Thank you for reading and i look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi Etty,

I'm new to this forum but have been living in Brno for two years. I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant and just starting to look around at hospitals. The date on your post is quite old but I was hoping you'd be wiling to share your experience with the hospital system here in Brno since I have another friend who is currently 31 weeks pregnant as well and in the same boat.

I'd love to have an opportunity to talk to you about it. Hopefully all went well and you now have a happy baby boy/girl!

Regards,
Kris

Hi Ladies,

I believe the maternity hospital on the Obilni Trh is generally agreed to be the best in Brno.

Although I'm sure the others are good too.

For all your Brno living queries check out www.brnoexpats.com the website for English speakers in and around Brno.

All the best
