" Travel Tips Hi there, We have moved to Denmark and would like to make the most of this opportunity to travel and explore. I am looking for some tips and ideas from other people of some more off the beaten track places. Any ideas of great places to go for a weekend away, not to miss attractions etc.... I have found our guide book concentrates mainly on the real touristy places and we are hoping to see another side of Denmark (or Scandinavia) too. Many thanks Natalie "

" Natalie, One of the best, nicest places I have visited is the little island of Ven (between Copenhagen and Landskrona in Sweden). Its just the tiniest place and you can hire a bike to peddle around and run over the natives. Its especially nice if you go on a sunny day so you can dangle your digits in the inviting waters. Being only a small island its really just a day out but I really enjoyed it a few weeks ago. I too will be moving to Denmark (Copenhagen) in about 6 weeks and will be making the most of these travel opportunities so perhaps we can keep each other/everyone informed of great places to visit or special travel offers, etc. Ciao for now Richard "

Travel tips - Rømø... One of my favourite places to visit is Rømø... Its probably a bit of a hike from Copenhagen but well worth a visit if you can manage it. Its a huge sand island with the most incredible long stretch of white sand - I never thought Danish beaches could be this fantastic! However the water is usually a bit cold for swimming in my opinion... Its very popular with kitefliers and the sky is often filled with amazing brightly coloured kites. Regards Natalie
