" Hello, We are a Turkish family living in UK. My husband''s company is going to transfer my husband to Denmark. We will be living in Copenhagen starting from August. I have a baby who is 17 months old and is going to a nursery school here. I want him to continue to a nursery school where English is being spoken in Denmark, too. Does anyone know any English or American school which accepts the babies in Copenhagen? I appreciate the help. Thank you in advance. "

" Hi You might want to try The International School in Copenhagen. I know that they teach in English, but I''m not sure if they have a nursery. I think that they will be able to help you though. I''m really sorry, but I don''t have the phone number for them. I hope this helps! Lynne "

" I think you will have a tough time, or at least that was the experience of a Korean colleague. You would be able to send your child to a regular school in the kommune in which you reside. However, you should be aware that the teachers have a danish philosphy of child raising that teaching very young children to respect and set limits on their behaviour and then giving them progressively more responsibility as they grow up. This starts from a few months of age. "

There is in fact such a nursury school in Lygnby. I think it goes under the name of little people''s nursery school. But from what i hear the atmosphere is not good. They even have an isolation room for punishment.
