Am I on the right track to becoming a Firefighter in Denmark?

Hello, I live in the USA, and I am looking to become a firefighter in Denmark. I am 21 years old.

I have applied for a worker's Visa, and am allowed to stay in the country and work for 1 year and a half, and I was told I could get another year and a half extension. I also plan on marrying my Danish wife, which may obtain my residency.

I also speak Danish, and have been studying Danish Language and culture for the past 5 years on my own with programs, software and books.

I received a 2 year degree in Fire Science/Firefighting from a Community College, and am a certified Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic(EMTP).

I am physically and mentally fit, as I exercise daily and meditate, so I am sure I could pass any tests given to me.

I will have a valid ID, and home address since I will be moving into an apartment there. I have no criminal record either.

I just want to know from a local Danish citizen if I qualify, and have a good chance of getting a job as a firefighter in Denmark, preferably in Western DK, like in Esbjerg, or even a small town in the surrounding area. I don't want to move to Denmark and get turned down.

If I don't qualify please tell me anything I can do to be fully qualified.

Thank you.
