I have lived in Denmark for two years in the Copenhagen area. I have a friend who was a dentist in Spain and was completely frustrated that she was unable to practice in Denmark. It's the language barrier that's the problem. If you don't speak fluent Danish, your resume will be chunked in the metal bin unless you are willing to be an assistant. My friend ended up moving out of Denmark for this very reason. Best of luck!

Though it's true that you have to speak Danish if you want to practice as a dentist in Denmark, there are several recruithment companies which prepare you for that, and teach you the language if you get the job. The one which specialized especially to recruitment of international doctors to Denmark, is Medicolink ( www.medicolink.com/dentistry ). Without any such help it's quite hard to get a job there as a foreign doctor.
