Short-term home rentals? With cats?

Hej Folks,
Assuming all goes well, husband and I would want to buy a home in Denmark. But on arrival, I'm assuming we'll need to rent for a while as we look around for something.

Do short-term house/flat rentals exist in Denmark? Or is it 6-month, 1 year+?

And generally speaking, are the homeowners open to renting to responsible folks with cats? For example, we'd be happy to pay for professional cleaning as we move out, pay an extra deposit, etc.

Thank you for your thoughts on this.

You can find some short term rentals on AirBNB that will allow pets.

Are either of you Danish citizens? Otherwise, don't try buying property. Unless you are wealthy and paying cash, it is not going to happen. You need at least permanent residence and many years of credit history before banks will consider you.
