We will be visiting Cuenca (11 - 15 Feb) and would like to meet with folks and share their thoughts on living in Cuenca. We currently live in the Tampa area and look forward to our visit.

Dear Smiling Ed,

I am a native Tampan as well and am also considering a solo move to Cuenca. I don't have my trip planned yet as I still need to get a passport but hope to go soon. Would you mind getting back to me after your visit and let me know your feelings about living there and how it went? Thanks.

Will be watching for updates about your visit. We winter in FL (Clermont usually) and are traveling down in mid-April for a month. We hope to use that time to help us make the decision on whether to move there next winter. ;-)

Hello Kati;
Before moving to Cuenca over one year ago, I lived in Venice Fort Myers and Vero Beach, so we were almost neighbors.
