As a reminder, once again...

In the event of Death, Accident, Hospital of an Expat, contact the Consulate of the country for that person.

Do not take authority or you may be taking liability.

Do not agree to make family contact,

Do not make arrangements for surgery, services, etc.

DO NOT ENTER THE HOUSE OR DOMICILE

DO NOT REMOVE PAPERS, DOCUMENTS, PASSPORTS.

The dispatch will speak basic English to take your name and number
The Consular Officer on duty for Emergency will be contacted immediately and call back.

FYI
I am one of two official Wardens in the Salinas area. The other is Amy Prisco, who owns and operates ReMax Salinas and Pioneer Travel.

We are the liaison with the Consulate in this area.

Dana Cameron is also a Warden in Guayaquil.

The old warden system was a phone tree for emergencies, but is no longer in effect or use since Everyone can sign up to receive notification of Messages from the Consulate.
