Dry Season??

Ok, when exactly is the dry and the wet seasons here in Ecuador?

I am freezing my fool tail off, and it had rained every day for the past 2 weeks ( on and off, granted ).

It is usually late Jan early Feb when I come here - or more accurately, it always has been. S0, I'm about exactly 180 degrees out of phase from my normal personal experience .
Looking at the daily highs and lows of the past couple of weeks - along with what is forecast about 10 days out from now - and comparing those with my own journal notes... I see that so far (and for at least the week to come) it is right spot on 10 degrees (F) colder/cooler than in say. mid Feb..

And to be clear, I am referring to Cuenca... I'm sure the coast is just lovely. ( and sounding better by the day!! )
