Smart phones using nano SIM cards usable in Ecuador

I just bought (but is returnable) a Motorola G4 Plus that can use GSM and CDMA, but it is the SIM card that I am concerned about. It is the tiny nano card I was told is becoming more prevalent with recent phones I am concerned about in Ecuador. The nano snaps into a micro sized adapter and fits into the phone. Does anyone know if CLARO or the other popular cellular vendor MovieStar provide nano sized SIMs ?

I got a nano SIM from Claro to use in my Droid Turbo while I'm here. Just load your time and data and you're good to go. BTW, be careful with data. Updates, etc. can burn through it pretty fast. I only use my Turbo for local calls.

You can safely cut down large sim cards and visa-versa, there are also adapters to use a small card in a larger slot
