Hi,
Will be in country for a month in October. It is a working holiday, so am in need for a data plan.

I can use my phone as a hotspot (Note7) but mostly will need for laptops. It appears most of the places we will be staying at provide wifi or internet, but just want to cover bases just to be sure.

You will have coverage everywhere but deep in the Oriente (amazon) where you are not likely to be over a fast weekend.

Keep in mind that speeds are very slow here in many places. Big cities tend to have the fastest speeds, cybers tend to be faster than hooking up on the wifi at a mall.

Finding a good cafe/bar with internet that is quieter during business hours and buying your food and drinks is a good plan for solid work time while commuting. And it is a win/win for the location. If they are especially good, give them a shout out...

By the way, in Montañita, I work at Hola Ola... best cappucino, and a complete menu ...and of course, Coca cola in the bottle !
