Notarial and Passport Services in Cuenca - October 19, 2017

IN THE CITY OF CUENCA – October 19, 2017

The U.S. Consulate General in Guayaquil is pleased to announce that representatives from the Consulate will offer notarial services and accept passport applications in the City of Cuenca on Thursday, October 19, 2017.

Where: Abraham Lincoln Center

Cuenca

When: Thursday, October 19, 2017, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, by appointment only.

Forms:
Please bring applications correctly filled out, along with originals and copies of citizenship documents (passport and birth certificate for children under the age of 16 and IDs of parents). Payment:
***IMPORTANT: Payment for notarial and passport applications can only be accepted in the form of a cashier’s check (in Spanish “CHEQUE DE GERENCIA”) from any Ecuadorian bank. The cashier’s check should be written out to “U.S. Disbursing Officer” and may be obtained from any Ecuadorian bank if one has an account at that bank. We regret that we are not able to accept any other type of payment during our outreach visits. If your bank requires the Embassy’s RUC, it is 1791845986001. For information on the fees for each type of service, please visit https://ec.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/fees/. Each notarial service has a fee of $50.00. Please keep in mind that some documents may require more than one notarization; if you seek to notarize such a document, please be prepared to pay $50.00 per consul’s signature.

Por favor traer las aplicaciones correctamente llenas y originales y copias de los documentos requeridos (copia de pasaportes y partida de nacimiento para menores de 16 años e identificación de los padres). ***IMPORTANTE: El pago de servicios de pasaportes y notaría deberá hacerse UNICAMENTE mediante un CHEQUE DE GERENCIA de cualquier banco del Ecuador. El cheque de gerencia debe ser girado a nombre de “U.S. Disbursing Officer” y se puede obtener en cualquier banco en el que usted tenga una cuenta vigente. Lamentamos no poder aceptar ningún otro tipo de pago. Si el banco necesitara el número de RUC, éste es el siguiente: 1791845986001. Para información sobre las tarifas vigentes, visite: https://ec.usembassy.gov/es/servicios-a-ciudadanos-de-estados-unidos/passports-es/fees-es/. Cada servicio notarial tiene un costo de $ 50.00.
