Hello Everyone
I’m posting with specific reference to British Expats living in Egypt. The current UK pension crisis and recent and upcoming changes to the regulations have caused quite a stir among British Expats. It seems no one is clear on the value of their pension, what they are entitled too, what their options are or how they will be affected by the changes.
I work for a company called deVere and it is part of my job to provide free pension reviews to British Expats that contributed to pension schemes while working in the UK. As I am considering a move to Cairo in the near future, I chose Egypt to offer my services.
The cost free and obligation free pension review will allow you to take control of your pension finances and become more informed with expert information. It comes at no cost because I believe that people are entitled to their financial information; after all, financial stability is of the utmost importance. It also allows me to meet new people and expand my network in a country that I look forward to residing in.
My services and the information I will provide carry no obligation for future business unless you would like to work with deVere, in which case I look forward to a very beneficial relationship. However, at the moment it is simply an opportunity for you to get expert financial advice at no cost, allowing you to be in control of your finances.
If anyone is interested or has any questions at all please don’t hesitate to contact me, I would love to share information and begin to help you on the way.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Keith
I am actually based in Cape Town, South Africa at the moment but I still work throughout Africa regarding pensions.
I am always available for contact: would you have a pension being affected by the crisis?
Kind regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew, thanks for getting back to me. I moved Australia 2 1/2 years ago with my new company opening a super fund. During this time my UK pension which was a company pension scheme was frozen. When I attained permanent residency I tried to move my UK fund to my super fund but due to HMRC changes was unable to. I am now looking at a move to Egypt and would like advice as to how I can consolidate all my funds into one scheme as both my UK and Australian ones will be frozen. Can you give me some pointers as to what to do next. Thanks Keith
