In either case though, I don't think this forum is the best place for you to connect with the people you want to connect with. There are NOT that many people on this forum actually living in Egypt now. A better place for you to be is Face Book. If you have a FB account then join REAL CAIRO EXPATS (one suggested group). There are members that don't live in Cairo only. If you are a woman, then there are loads of other groups that I know have members living in Alexandria or at least members that go up to Alex on occasion. Try Women in Egypt, or Expat women in Egypt or CACA. IF you are a woman, one of the 3 might suit you. Good luck. If that doesn't help, find a job in Cairo and move down here.
