Go to Facebook and join REAL CAIRO EXPATS. I'm 99% sure you'll have better luck there. Most of the people in this forum are not in Egypt. .they have a vested interest in it somehow though...but meet ups in Cairo are not one of them. Also there is a group called The Cairo Social Club on Facebook that you might like. Or Internations Group. You'll have to Google that as they are not on Facebook.
