Moving to Sheikh zayed city with a newborn

Hi, I'm moving from London to Sheikh Zayed city in Feb/March with a newborn and a toddler. I wondered if anyone could recommend a good area to live in. I've looked at Allegria but it seems very empty! I'd really like to be somewhere I can meet other mums and not be too isolated. Also , are there any good nursery's and mother and baby classes in the area? Many thanks. L

Sorry but this forum is not the best place for you to get the most useful information for your question IMHO. You would be much better off using Facebook and joining one of these groups

Expat Women in Egypt
Expat Women in Cairo
British Women in Egypt

One of those will answer your questions exactly and you'll meet other moms and learn about coffee mornings to attend, etc.

I think they may even have a Sheikh Zayed Expat group but I live on the other side of town so can't help with that.

I do know one of the admins from EWIE lives in Sheikh Zayed though so I know you'll get good info there
