Hi there. My wife, son and I moved to the Czech Republic almost a year ago, but now may have an opportunity to move to Estonia for work. Anyone have any insights on this? Good idea/bad idea? What should be be aware of, etc.
Thanks!!

Great idea....lots to get used to,estonian people are not your get up and go sort and are NOT customer focused. Be prepared to wait while in a shop for any service, thats even if they acknowledge you at all. I waited in a restaurant one hour, never got served went and got my own drink put money on counter and left. But its a nice country, snow in winter hot and sunny in the summer...alot of people speak english and once you get to know them they acctually smile and say hello. Cheap to eat out, great countryside. great beaches...ski resort....golf...indoor aqua park....ect. Property is not expensive depending on where you have lived before. TV ... 3 channels (no TV licence) quite a few programmes are in english....every evening you can find at least one film on with other american soaps ect. Cars are about the same price as the rest of europe...no road tax. Roads are not fantastic main roads are tarmac but some of the roads going to the smaller towns are dirt track. If you are a drinker or smoker then its cheap for you. Well i hope that helps and if you would like more you can e-mail me.
