Hello from Estonia!

Yes, we have lived in Indiana the past 10 years and are currently living in Estonia for the year. Where are you and what are you doing here?

I´m presently living and working as a quaily assurance representiative in Germany. I have been to Tallinn 10 times in the last 8 months and love it. I was there the last week of Nov. 2006 and it was very cold.
What brings you and your family to Estonia? What line of work are you in? How long do you plan to stay? I would love to relocate to Estonia but it isn´t easy to find jobs for non-estonian speaker persons, maybe you have a few ideas. I hope to hear from you soon.
Have a nice day
Steve

Hello Steve

My husband was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach at Tallinn Tech. University for the year. We will be here until the beginning of July. So far it has been an easy adjustment. Where in Indiana are you from? We lived in West Lafayette where my husband teaches. I teach at Harrison High School for GLASS services and at the psy. hospital program that GLASS runs. I am not working this year while we are here. How did you end up in Germany? Did you already work for an international company and decided to take the out of country assignment? I don't know your interest or level of education, but university courses are taught in English in Estonia. The problem for most of us relocating here is the income is quite low compared to the US. Wouldn't be so bad if all other costs were lower too, but rent is outrageous as is clothing. As you know from your visits, the food is quite reasonable. The weather is okay this year. We have had snow, but it is gone now and today it is light to medium jacket type weather.

Good to talk with you,
Pam

Hi Pam,
I´m from the Bedford/Bloomington area in Indiana. I have lived here in Germany since Jan. 1984. I served 6 years in the US Air Force and was last stationed here and decided to stay.

I work as a Quality Manager in a Concrete Colors-Concrete Technology Company. We have a Sub. just outside of Tallinn.
I would love to relocate to Estonia. I have found outside of Tallinn that Estonia is really cheap, but I must add that Germany is very $$$.
I´ve been looking a real estate in the Keila area.

After your year in Tallinn are you moving back to Indiana?

I hope to have a nice day,and I hope to hear from you again soon.
Hello also to your Husband.
Steve
