Hey guys and girls,

I'm glad I found this website.

I'm planning on moving to Tallinn soon and I've looked at flats etc. My girlfriend lives there so I won't be on my own lol.

Does anybody have any advice on how to get work for when I get over there? I'd hate to live in a flat and not be able to pay rent!

I'm going over at the end of the month for a week to see my girl and have a look around.

I've found a lot of TV and film companies over there so maybe I'll be able to get involved there as I trained at the BBC.

Thanks in advance

Fraser

Fraser, I noticed that the filmmakers for the documentary "The Singing Revolution" are (or were) were adjunct teachers at Baltic Film and Media School at Tallinn University: www.bfm.ee

If the school don't have any teaching jobs for you, they probably could help with contacts.

Hope this helps!

Faser, I wish you the best of luck in Tallinn and truly hope you get something going. I'd love to do voiceovers, but an American in Pärnu has slim chance of getting to know any of that crowd and frankly, I've got my hands full learning the ropes of simply being here! I asked an actor about improv in the country and was met with blank looks. Guess I'll have to master the language...George anyone?

Thanks for that :D I'll certainly give it a go.

I'm going over for a week at the end of the month to see my girlfriend and check the place out.

So far I've been in touch with a pretty good production company and they want to meet with me, so that's a good start!

Cheers

Thanks for that :)

I'll keep plugging away. The only people not to email me back with any help has been the British Embassy... fantastic, lol.

Cheers.

Im curious did you make it to Tallinn? are you still around? and how is the film industry suiting you there?
My mates just released SUGISBALL, maybe your girlfriend knows it its on at the coca-cola plaza and just premiered.
