Hey Diiva, I am in the same boat as you. Have two rental properties in Nadi and it being a challenge keeping those going. Started off with an average rent of F$1500 per month back in 2006 and now down to $F600 per month as rental prices have come down. About to remodel a bit and see if I can get the rent back up. As for a business, I have been looking into a technology based business, that is an area that is starting to grow in Fiji and as Internet access becomes normal everyday amenties, business idea around use of technology will be useful in Fiji. The challenge is being located in Fiji in order to run the business. I tried the long distance business owner deal and it just did not work out well.

Hi
We have a home in Savusavu but was under the impression we could not rent it out as we do not live in Fiji?

Can you explain how this works? Thanks

Hi. Saw your 2013 post about not being able to rent your home in Savusavu. Do you still have it? Is it for rent? Going to SVSV for the first time in January. Looking to rent a place for one week, may be longer if I like the place. May be stay there as well as I live in Nadi and would like to get out of it. Many thanks. Margret. Tel: 8628162
