Hey Brian,
I'm a brit who spent a year living and working in Finland, mainly Helsinki. There are some quality computing jobs that might suit you available in Finland. Try out the universities or other academic institutions as they have contacts posted for the students. Also if you know anything about communications, Nokia are a big employer (finnish too). Good Luck, Scandanavia is such an amazing place and culture.
