Am considering buying a condo/house in the south of france. Went in Jan. to look and found them rather expensive. Have real estate people working on it there. Any suggestions? Hazards to avoid? Things to look/ask for?

just a heads-up!! I live in Aix-en-Provence and prices are going to get worse in the coming months as a new TGV station is opening up in nearby Vitrolles. The belief is that many wealthy Parisians are willing to make the three hour trip to Paris if they can live in the sunny South of France. Condos and land are being swept up as soon as they come on the market.
