I am currently living in the US and am thinking of moving back to France in the next few years. I am contributing to a 401(k) plan and I am not sure if I can transfer this contributions to a French institution. Would anyone have any info regarding 401(k) money transfer to a French institution?, thanks

I am (or will be) in the same situation. Did you find an answer or did you leave your 401K in the US?
Thanks,
Jeff

Did either of you find out anything on this topic?
I was also wondering if France would tax this under the impot sur la fortune (wealth tax). Thanks

Raoul
