Schools & 3-4 months in France

Dear Friends,
My family and I will be in Paris (I will be on a mini-sabbatical) starting Fall for 3-4 months this coming Fall. We have two children (8th grade and 5th grade) and wanted to know what options do we have for our children to enroll for a quarter? The international/ bilingual schools are crazy expensive. Any thoughts or advice would be great. My son speaks a bit of French, but my daughter does not. Thank you so much!

I would put the children into the local school even for a few months. They will soon pick up French and learn about another culture. You may find they put them into a class a year below their grade but it is normal and I have found the kids do not suffer from that. Or you could home school them.
