Good Day

I am a South African citizen currently living with my boyfriend in Southern France. I am on a one year visitor long stay visa which expirés in November, I have been told i can apply for an extension two months before it expires.

I would like to know if I can ask for a working visa when I ask for an extension.

I will also be pacsing with my boyfriend soon, would this aid me in obtaining à working visa too?

Hi Clivena,

Assuming your boyfriend is French, PACSing with him would definitely help you to obtain a work visa. If you can prove "vie commune" for at least one year prior to the PACS, you can apply for a carte de séjour "vie privée et familiale" at your local préfecture.
