I currently live in an area near both of these cities. Nuremburg is the larger of the two with a lot to offer. Erlangen is a University city and a large corporate base for Siemens Company. If you would like to email me directly I would be glad to give you any information I can about the area. My family moved here 10 months ago from the U.S. You can contact me at Tlerste@aol.com

" Like Theresa already mentioned, Erlangen is Siemens/University land. My husband & I moved here 1.5 years ago from the US. We like it here, although it cheaper to live in Nürnberg. Of course (because it''s bigger) there''s more offered in Nürnberg. "

" Hi, My family and I are looking at moving to the Nurmberg area. Are you aware of any International/English schools in the area. I have 2 kids: 11 and 9 yrs old. Thanks! "

" I work at Adidas near both. I live in Nurnberg because there is more going on. But if you are young...i.e below 21 then I would reccomend Erlangen. I am from Manchester and I was quite scared as I thought there would be nothing decent to do...but I was pleasantly surprised! And don''t forget you can always drive and visit different places around at the weekends..like Itlay, Switzerland, Czech etc etc! "
