I am from India. I arrived in Ingolstadt few days ago. I speak a little German and want to improve it by speaking to aboriginals. I do speak a good bit of English and have got good band score in IELTS (International English exam). I would like to indulge myself in language and culture exchange. I don't know how I can meet and make German friends. Suggestions are appreciated. Anyone who is interested can reply to my e-mail address: aadu24c@gmail.com

Welcome to Germany! You are a short train ride to Munich. Munich is an international city, with many nationalities. You may want to find an international women's group online, and contact a member for information on their next social gathering. Munich has english tours to see the city sign up for one of the tours and meet others. Get yourself out and smile when making eye contact your smile will throw people off. If you don't feel comfortable saying gross Gott, then say Guten Tag, but always greet a shopkeeper when entering an establishment. You will find international minded Germans usually your age that would love to befriend you, but be patient, it doesn't happen overnight. Sign up for a VHS class in your village, cooking, german, painting, yoga, anything that might interest you. Just do something!

Sorry I didn't look closely at your profile. Meeting people at a University is probably your best bet. Try the english tours in Munich. Best wishes.
