Hello, I am new to the site but am glad to be here. Planning the move to Baddenwurttemburg in 6 to 12 months. When we arrive we will need temporary housing, perhaps 2 or 3 months until we find a permanent residence. Any suggestions on a furnished monthly for a family of 4? Thank you in advance for any help at all........ M

Hi actually I can help somewhat.
Unless you can find a real Zeitung (newspaper) its almost IMPOSSIBLE. Do know most places require a "KAUTION" which is = to a security deposit here and you NEED TO BE VERY CLEAR on that right from the start.Looking online is DAUNTING.Watch out for SCAMMERS claiming they or someone like a father or relative Lives in the U.K. Therefore the office is there...so you need to watch out for being rented someonelses apartment losing out on your money and having no place to go accept a Hotel or Hostel. The key is to find a place the hard way and make certain the landlord is GERMAN and lives in Germany. Take before and after Video footage and photos to be on the safe side. Go to www.WG-gesucht.de to start Find a ReMax ageant here in the states for more guidance if thats possible. There is Re-Max there .. Hope this helps : )

Hi,

Where in BW are you planning on moving too? My company hired Move In in Karlsruhe to help me with a temporary apartment and to setup viewings on a permanent apartment. You can check out their website at: http://www.move-in.info/home.html.

Good luck,

Gary
