What should I expect as temperature in Antigua during the first two months of the year?

This year has been warmer than normal, so not sure how the dry season will be in early 2016. Lows overnight in Antigua should be around 50, dipping occasionally to 45. Highs should be around 65 - 70 that time of year.

How about the Lake Atilan area, can you inform me of the temperature for Jan - April usually?

Therefore heating is required overnight I assume?

no heating element but it is nice to have a fire place to warm up the ambiance during some cold evening and night

Nah... you would be amazed at how well the thick cement and brick walls hold heat overnight. Plus if you have a fireplace as was already mentioned, if you use that in the evening before heading to bed you should be cozy all night with the doors and windows shut.

It will be quite chilly as you leave your bedroom and enter the indoor/outdoor living that is Antigua (most houses have no interior hallways, they are all open to the air). But grab a robe and you'll be fine. Once the sun comes up it warms up very rapidly.
