Ladies, Beware

Very recently a very pretty and young friend of mine went to have a burrito with her boyfriend at a small restaurant within two blocks of La Bodegona. Shortly after entering the bathroom of the establishment, she realized that through a hole in a box a Iphone5 cellphone was making a video of her visit. She contacted the owner who claimed no knowledge of the existence of the cellular. Nevertheless, he said he did not want any trouble and offered her money. She refused, exited the restaurant, told her story to a nearby police officer, and returned. The owner surrendered a cellphone to the police officer, but it was not of the same brand as that of the cellphone she had discovered making the video. Eventually the correct cellphone was located (I hope) and turned over to the police. At the police station, she was told that the matter would not be be resolved for a long time and it was best to forget the incident. She said she did not mind a long wait and continued to press her complaint.

When I know more, I will add to this post.

Were the police bribed to tell her it was not a priority, or were they too lazy to do their job? I do not have an answer to that question, but I do know the girl and her family are very upset about the incident.
