Now before you send anything make sure you talk to her because in order for you not to be present (and I don't think you can anyway) what you send as to be listed and priced and better if you have a document (invoice ) to support the price.. Unless you are shipping it under the permanent resident visa...
you will have to pay custom tax and VAT on each items..
So the container goes through the random system if you get green light you are out and they charge you what is on your list if he goes red they to a complete revision and better have your things in order because if the SAT people think that the face value of the goods you put onto the list is not appropriate they will charge you fine and the rest.. so better prepared..
I have found that most of the times it is not cost effective to bring things if you can't benefit of the tax exemption household when you have permanent residency.. let us know how it went
