I know people have had problems with electronics and electricity frying their computer devices. Do power strips help at all? Is there any other precaution I can take? Thanks

Make sure to buy a power strip with surge protection. That should take care of any problems. I've been here over 25 years and have never had a problem. I always use a surge protector.
