I definitely should have asked this earlier, but it looks like I am having to travel with 4 giant suitcases. I would like to limit myself to 3 if possible, and have some of my cool weather clothes shipped. Is there a reliable, reasonably priced shipping company that people have used? Thanks!

I always use a company called "Rapido Cargo" in Miami. they deliver door to door and have good rates. I don't know from where you want to ship, but they do pick up in other locations. Their number is 305 631 0686. I have used them several times and always been happy. Good luck.

@lduper

When are you leaving? Im planning to have some stuff shipped to La Ceiba myself, and im in Atlanta also. Im backpacking down with another expat (to learn the ropes) then having my pallets shipped down as soon as i grab a spot, which should be around sept-october.

I am actually leaving this week, but I am leaving stuff with my sister in Atlanta so she can ship it to me whenever we figure out the best way. Have you identified a good company? I on't have much stuff at all, just some boxes of books and clothing.

Oh ok, yeah i found a company...2 actually. One ships out of Miami and the other ships out of houston, but they make pickups in Atlanta. I pick them because i havent decided where im buying yet (honduras or Nica). But the houston shipper ships to both.

Anyway, good travels. Myabe i'll see you down there. Im planning to leave here around aug 23rd.
