I am thinking about moving to Honduras to be with my boyfriend who is stationed at Soto Cano Joint Air Force base. I won't be able to live with on base so I am going to be renting an apartment in Siguatepeque. I am an American woman and I am really concerned about safety. Anyone have any advice? Is it dangerous to have a car?

Seguatapeque is relatives y safe. If you are driving, make sure you have a car alarm. As far as an apartment do your Research and get an apartment with private parking possibly a guarded apartment especial y at night. Have you considered, living in Comayagua instead. It is much closer, to soto cano. Good luvk
