Moving to HK with teenage daugther

We are considering a move to HK for next academic year (would potentially be on a fulbright award at Hong Kong America Center for a year) and have researched schools for our teenage daugther (who would be entering 10th grade next fall). She has an acceptance at Canadian Int'l School and we are currently waiting to hear from HKIS. Any advice? Are there other top schools we should consider?

Another consideration...our daughter plays tennis competitively and we would her to continue with coaching and have a club for us to play at regularly?

Finally, although the universities there would provide housing for visiting scholars...we know nothing about neighborhoods. Recommendations regarding what high schools would work best in terms of transportation and what neighborhoods we should put on our "good list" and "avoid list".

Thanks for any help folks can provide.

It is likely that they have someone to help you with relocation. I find people in HK very honest and I think they would be the same regarding neighborhoods. Budget is a factor.

Public transport is reasonable and safe so this is not a concern.

Tennis is popular and I would check with expat groups such as AWA to get more details.
