Friend is visiting/Ask Ting Ting??

Hello, I have a problem and a question. A friend of mine is visiting me for the upcoming two weeks. It is his first time ever outside europe so HK will be kind of a shock for him :-) I have to work, so I can't take care of him during working hours. Well I heard about a mobile guide called AsK Ting Ting. It combines navigation system, free calls, free internet and works also like a travel guide. My thought is that he can always stay in touch with me, has a good travel guide and never get lost. Has anybody experience with it? I think it could be a good solution, but I would appreciate your opinion and advices. Thank you!

Are you talking about a dog that needs to be taken out or a young kid? If not I think a adventure in this concrete jungle will be interesting for your friend.

I don't agree. I think not trying to take care is kinda rude. It wouldn't feel nice to me, if I visit somebody and he says: "welcome, have fun, but I am not available...."
But anyway I decided to give this mobile guide Ask Ting Ting a try and so far my friend is enjoying it :-) He loves to send "virtual postcards" with it and he also tried the walking tours. He liked the entertaining guidance by videos. So I think I made the right decision :-)
